We are seeking Quality Assurance Analysts to support the development and quality assurance of a Microsoft Power Apps solution. This application is designed to streamline the grant application process, managing steps from intake through eligibility determination.

These roles will focus on ensuring functionality, data accuracy, and overall performance of the application. Candidates will work closely with senior team members, gaining hands-on experience with testing methodologies while helping maintain the integrity and reliability of the system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional testing of Power Apps solutions to ensure workflows operate as intended across the grant intake and eligibility process
  • Execute structured test plans, document results, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of application outputs
  • Assist with testing data integrations, batch processes, and interface workflows
  • Support performance and usability testing to evaluate responsiveness and user experience
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Contribute to test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with software testing, including functional, integration, or performance testing for web-based applications
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query data and validate results
  • Understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning, defect tracking, and Agile environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps
  • Experience with automation or automated testing tools
  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python) or test automation frameworks

Compensation:

  • $30/hour
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Duration: Expected through December 2026, with the possibility of extension
