We are seeking Tax Director candidates for a Southeast Regional accounting firm.

Job Location: Remote reporting to Ridgeland, MS
Job Duties:
- Assign projects and provide supervision to ensure working papers, tax returns and other deliverables are in accordance with Firm and professional standards
- Identify tax issues and communicate with Partner
- Contribute insights and innovative ideas
- Prepares complex tax returns and reviews working papers for accuracy and completeness on less complex projects
- Conduct tax research
- Build positive relationships with team members and clients
- Foster a positive work environment
- Communicate with clients through progress of projects and problems through resolution
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate workflow with team
- Provide assistance to associates and managers with technical and software issues
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of public accounting or consulting experience
- BBA or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Current CPA license
- Plus: Multi-state corporation and ASC 740 experience
- Strong Proficiency in Excel
- Access experience preferred
- Ability to remain organized under heavy workload and stay on task
- Excellent Communication/Customer service skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass Background Check
Compensation:
- $125-155K+ DOE
