We are seeking a Manager of Finance for a Southeastern regional company with manufacturing, finance, and retail operations. This development-oriented role reports directly to the CFO and plays a crucial part in shaping financial strategy and ensuring operational success. The ideal candidate is adept at handling the intricacies of finance and skilled at building strong relationships within the team.
Job Duties:
- Develop, refine, and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for FP&A support.
- Collaborate with departments to align the annual budget with company goals and targets.
- Ensure the timely preparation of key financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Streamline finance processes and reinforce internal controls for enhanced efficiency.
- Analyze financial outcomes and customer datasets, offering insights to enhance business results.
- Manage financial risks to comply with regulations and prevent potential issues.
- Engage with teams across accounting, treasury, and operations for financial data and initiatives.
- Uphold stringent internal controls to protect company assets and adhere to financial guidelines.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the CFO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance or related field
- MBA or MAcc a plus
- 3+ years experience in finance specific position
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets for information driven outcomes
- Disciplined approach to tasks and eagerness for continuous learning and contribution
Compensation:
$60,000 to $80,000 DOE
