Kinetic Staffing has been retained for an opportunity for a Litigation Associate. This is a career-defining chance for attorneys with 2-5 years of litigation experience to embark on a partner track with a top-tier firm. Our client, renowned for its comprehensive legal services, is seeking a professional who can contribute significantly to their diverse and dynamic legal team.

Our client is open to candidates with diverse litigation backgrounds, including commercial defense, insurance defense, employment law, and construction litigation. Our client values experiences of attorneys from diverse backgrounds and aspires to have a legal team reflect the communities they serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage various aspects of litigation cases, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

Strategize and develop case theories and litigation plans in collaboration with senior attorneys.

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.

Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisories.

Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school, with academic achievements preferably in the top third of the class.

2-5 years of experience in litigation, encompassing all facets of the process.

Preference for candidates with Federal Court litigation experience.

Outstanding writing and communication skills.

Must be licensed to practice in Mississippi or a contiguous state.

Compensation:

$100,000 to $150,000 + bonus
