We are seeking an Environment Engineer to support a wide variety of environmental projects throughout the Southeast. This position will engage in forward-looking projects, encompassing environmental compliance audits, regulatory compliance, due diligence assessments for both individual and portfolio opportunities, and environmental remediation. The role involves delivering engineering services to an array of clients, including federal, state, and municipal agencies, as well as to industrial companies.

Position is full time, permanent, direct hire with our client. Partnership opportunities are available for candidates with client relationships and/or portable business.

 

Position can be hybrid – a combination of working onsite and remote.

Job Duties:

Perform well in a task leader/task manager role with desire to advance to a project technical leader or project manage role.

Engage in engineering design for environmental projects.

Prepare drawings, specifications, and calculations as part of the design process.

Create design deliverables for environmental compliance audits and regulatory compliance.

Conduct due diligence assessments for both individual and portfolio opportunities.

Design solutions for environmental remediation.

Develop operation, maintenance, and monitoring plans.

Interface and effectively communicate with clients and staff in Mississippi and surrounding states.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline

Professional Engineering (PE) License

3-10 years of related experience conducting and planning for projects under RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Title V, UST, and/or Brownfield regulatory programs

 

Compensation:

$75-150K+ DOE
